The post title is taken from Proverbs 31:22. It’s the Modern American Version.
I was recently given this outfit by a friend who snickered a lot as I opened the box. I squeezed into the star-spangled suit — I think I need a size up — and we beheld my modest self with wonder.
It would be much admired in the Fellowship, especially if a woman is a high enough level of virtuous womanhood to make it herself. Note how it smooths out most of those pesky female curves that are such a trial to men.
But a woman can never be too guarded against immodesty. It lurks under every hem.
Do you know what the outfit is?
Comment below (whether you know or not) and be entered into a drawing for a free copy of The Fellowship, which actually mentions one of these in passing.
It’s a bathing suit, isn’t it??????? ::twitchtwitchtwitch::

This reminds me of a colorful version of a swimsuit of a much earlier generation. I have no idea what it actually is, but it would provoke a hilarious reaction from my family if I sported one! I might even be tempted to do so, just for the reaction. Hehe
(And I wonder why my kids do things just for my reaction….adult ones especially!)

That was a pretty hilarious day. Especially since that same friend gave me a mini skirt the same day.

I’m guessing this is a swimsuit.
And given that curves are such a trial to men I’m kinda surprised that the ultra-crazy Christisn community isn’t a huge supporter of liposuction.

It’s a “modest” swimsuit. But males and females should probably still swim in separate swimming areas.

It either has to be a swimsuit or wedding night lingerie……

Brazenly commenting for the book drawing. Not sure what to say about the bathing suit, except maybe that I can’t see how you could consider anything “modest” with that bright and loud a pattern. Heaven preserve us.

Can you in good conscience “brazenly” comment on such a vision of modesty? 🙂

It really leaves you speechless, doesn’t it? Which is a nice way to say “unspeakable.”
